Curate: After The Noise
Curate is a digital concept for a modern speaker series centered on women shaping today’s cultural dialogue. The landing page was designed to feel premium yet restrained, combining editorial minimalism with subtle brutalist structure. It’s clean, confident, and intentionally free of excess.

THE CHALLENGE
To create a landing page that felt editorial yet functional — intelligent, modern, and premium without falling into the clichés of feminine branding. I wanted to strike a balance between restraint and edge, avoiding overused visual language like pastel sisterhood tropes or excessive warmth.
The challenge was to communicate presence and sophistication using minimal tools: grid, type, and space.

DESIGN DIRECTION
The visual language draws on editorial systems with brutalist undercurrents — stark layouts, generous whitespace, and sharp content hierarchy. Inspired by websites like NeueHouse and GitHub Universe, the structure is pragmatic but elegant, with a monochrome palette, muted contrast, and strong typographic voice.
Interactions were kept minimal and intentional, echoing the event’s purpose: clarity over clutter, dialogue over noise.
